Pagimio

Privacy policy

Last updated: 3 November 2026

In short: Pagimio does not collect any personal data. Your documents are processed only on your device and are never uploaded. There is no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking, and the app itself does not connect to the internet. The one exception is the document scanner on Android, described below.

Documents you print

Pagimio opens only the files you choose, share with it or drag onto it. Pages are prepared for printing on your device. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else, except to the printer you print to.

Scanning documents

You can scan paper pages with your phone’s camera. Pagimio uses the scanner built into your system; the scanned pages become a PDF in the app’s private storage and are treated like any other document you print. The images of the pages are deleted as soon as the PDF is made.

  • iPhone and iPad: the scanner is Apple’s VisionKit and works entirely on the device. Pagimio asks for access to the camera only for scanning; you can turn it off at any time in Settings.
  • Android: the scanner is Google’s ML Kit document scanner, provided by Google Play services. The scanning itself, including the images of your pages, stays on the device. Google Play services may download the scanner to your device the first time you use it, and ML Kit sends Google diagnostic and usage data about the scanner – such as the device model and system version, the app’s package name and version, a per-installation identifier, performance figures and events like “scanner started” – encrypted, under Google’s privacy policy. Google states that it does not pass this data to third parties. Pagimio does not receive it. If you do not scan, none of this happens.

What is stored on your device, and for how long

  • The job you are printing. So that you can continue after closing the app, Pagimio keeps a private copy of the PDF and the state of the job in its own storage. The copy is deleted when you finish or cancel the job, and at the latest 7 days after the job was last used (when the app is next opened).
  • Files received from other apps. When you share a PDF with Pagimio or open it with Pagimio, the file is copied into the app's private storage – on iPhone, iPad and Mac into a container shared only between Pagimio and its Share extension. The copy is removed once the job takes it over, and files left unused are deleted after 7 days.
  • Printer settings. Calibration results (the printer's name and how it feeds paper) and your preferences stay on the device until you delete the app.

This data is not accessible to us. Deleting the app deletes all of it. Device backups made by your system (for example iCloud or Google backups) may include the app's data according to your own settings.

Printing

Pagimio hands the pages to your operating system's print service. From there your system, the printer driver and the printer process the job – possibly over your local network or a print service you have set up – under their own terms. Pagimio does not control or receive any of this.

This website

pagimio.com is a static website hosted on Google Firebase Hosting. It uses no cookies, no analytics, no tracking and no fonts or scripts from other services. To deliver the pages, the hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request, and may keep it in server logs for security and operation (see the Firebase privacy information). The language you pick in the menu is remembered only in your browser (local storage).

App Store and TestFlight

Pagimio is distributed through Apple's App Store and TestFlight. Apple processes data related to downloads and purchases under its own privacy policy. If you take part in a TestFlight beta and send feedback, or allow your device to share crash reports and usage data with app developers, Apple passes that information to us; we use it only to fix problems. You can turn this off in your device settings.

When you write to us

If you email support@pagimio.com, we use your address and message only to reply and to fix the problem you report, and we delete the correspondence when it is no longer needed. We do not share it with anyone.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing and to data portability. Because the app keeps everything on your device, you control that data directly. For anything else write to support@pagimio.com. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority – in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).

Children

Pagimio collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes and contact

If the app starts handling data differently, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the date above will change. The data controller for the matters above is the developer of Pagimio, contact: support@pagimio.com.
